5 Reasons Why You Should Choose To Believe The God Of The Bible As The Deity For You!

Did you know that if you search for how many Gods there are in the world in the Google search engine, the top Google answer that will show up is a book sold on Amazon that contains information about 2500 deities that are present and/or worshipped in the world?

I believe there are more, but stop and think about how large that number is for a minute!

2500 seems like a very large number to me, especially if you are trying to decide which God you want to choose to follow.

So if there are at least 2500 different Gods in the world, how do you choose the right God for your life?

If you read my ‘About Me’ page, you will know that I grew up in what would be considered a Christian home.

My mother is very devout and still is. She was raised in a Christian household.

My father was so-so when it came to his beliefs because he didn’t come from a highly religious household, but my mother’s ways rubbed off on him.

With two parents with a mind set towards a particular God, my God was handed to me, like a heirloom.

Luckily, I didn’t have the daunting task of trying to choose because it would have taken forever!

My family had already done the hard work, experimented, found out the best the God for them, and subsequently handed the Alpha and the Omega (That’s what I love to call God) over to me.

I took the platter that was handed to me, but you better believe that I questioned what I was being given.

I can be suspicious by nature and I don’t accept anything upfront most of the time.

It’s not always the best strategy in life when you are trying to move forward in your life at a quick pace, but I have to question and put things to the test before I allow them to step even an inch into my life, especially if that thing is going to have such a big part to play in my life and over my life.

Can we say authority issues? Lol.

Anyway, question I definitely did when it comes to accepting God of the Bible, as well as his rule, over my life.

I imagine that you will be in the same place as me or your were when the decision was made whether of not to choose God to be a part of your life.

Your life is valuable.

Your time is valuable.

You don’t want to waste your valuable life and time on something that is not worthwhile.

Right?

Correct if I’m wrong, but I feel like part of the reason why you would want a God to be a part of your life is for the benefits.

I imagine it’s not the only reason, but it’s definitely part of the reason.

I believe that there are plenty of reasons to choose the God of the Bible to be your God, but the following are 5 reasons that I feel spiritually led to give you as to why you should choose the God of the Bible to be the God in and over your life, which are in no particular order:

1. God of the Bible Is All-Seeing

God sees all. God can see what’s going on in the physical realm, but he can also see what is going on internally in all people. God knows what’s going on at all times. God knows what everyone is thinking and what they are going to to do before they do it or while they’re planning on doing it. Because God can see everything that is going on with all people, even beforehand and during, he is always ten steps ahead, which is perfect when it comes to planning. God is like the fly on the wall. Having a God on your side that sees all and knows all leads to you being able to be at peace during your walk through life because God is there to keep you safe and out of trouble. Having a God that is all-seeing is also beneficial when it comes to making the right decisions in situations because God is always on top of what is happening and what is going to happen, so the likelihood of making the right decisions in situations increases substantially, which again, keeps you safe and out of trouble, as well as helps you get the things that you desire.

2. God is An Obstacle Demolisher

In this life there will be obstacles. Obstacles are inevitable. Everyone is going to experience them and that is where God comes in. God has the ability to demolish every obstacle that stands in your way. God has the ability to strengthen every relationship or distinguish every relationship. God has the ability to make your desires and commitments work out and in some cases not work out when it is beneficial to you, and when it is within his will of course. Because God has the ability to remove the obstacles from your life, it makes your ability to make decisions stronger because you are less fearful. When you know that God has got your back and is working to remove the obstacles from your life, you are able to sleep a little easier than if you were to not have an All-seeing Obstacle Demolisher on your side, fighting your battles. Knowing God is on on your side and tearing down your obstacles also helps you be more confident than if you were going at it alone.

3. God is The Great Human Connector

God connects people. God can connect you to the right people at the right time. I don’t think I really need to go into much detail about the benefits of being aligned with the right people, but what did come to mind was God’s ability to connect romantic couples together, particularly in relationships where one party is stuck and the other isn’t. What also came to mind was the kind of romantic relationships in which one party cannot seem to find the right person for them. They have searched high and low and are almost at the point of giving up, when suddenly God places the right person across their path. God will set you up with the right people at the right time.

4. God Will Show You What To Do With Your Money

There is a lot of talk in the world about what you should do with your money. Should you invest in stocks? Should you save your money? Should you spend money on this or that? Should you start a business? With all the different opinions out there about what is the right way to make and save money, it’s hard to come up with the right conclusion or to move in the right direction when it comes to your finances. Not only are there so many different directions being given out in the world when it comes to money, there are also the feelings that you feel about your money that get in the way of you being able to figure out the proper way to manage your money. I believe that the subject of money is a highly emotional subject. Money can cause feelings of happiness to feelings of sorrow all in the span of 5 minutes. If the subject of money can cause so many shifts in emotions so fast, how can you possibly make a proper decision about money? If asked, God will show you what to do with your money or how to make money in order to be prosperous.

5. God Is All In For You

God is committed to you. God is committed to blessing you and will do so over and over again. While God is busy blessing you, he will also maintain the blessings that have already been given to you. God will not change his mind when it comes to being down for you and blessing you. God is not like humans. God does not lie nor change his mind at the last minute. God is an entity that you can count on without a shadow of a doubt, who will not call you and bail on plans at the very last minute with some lame excuse. God keeps it 100. If God says something, you can count on it being true and coming to pass.

So, those are a few of the benefits that you can consider if you are in the place where you want to choose a God over your life or if you already have and need a little reminder.
